    were there people who were let go? Their head of mortgage finance is gone as of the end of the year so you have to wonder whether it's a purge. With no new deals, no one else is growing.

    I don't get it. I heard that everyone on the Barclays staff was getting cut once they finished selling off legacy assets.

    But even so, what are they going to actually do?
