Inland Raising $1.8bln for a diverse REIT?

I dunno, this seems like a bad idea. REIT investors don't like diversity across property types.

is it a traded or non-traded REIT?

Public, but not listed.

not listed? then, that's a non-traded REIT. the share price is what Inland says it is ($10), redemption is also according to their rules. Similar REITs buy 0.85 of real estate for every $ invested ... the rest is paid out in fees and commissions. anyone know which boiler room is selling this REIT to your grandparents?

institutional investors don't like diverse REITs. Grandmothers don't know the difference. Inland sells to Grandma
